Two recent reviews each from Google, Yelp, Thumbtack and YP. The pattern is the same every time: diagnosed on the spot, fixed, and lit before we leave.

Google

Gas fireplace clicked but wouldn't light. The tech found a bad igniter, swapped it, and had it burning in under an hour — showed me the old part, too.

Marcus Turner — Nashville, TN

Pilot kept dying every few days. They replaced the thermocouple, cleaned the burner, and now it lights first try, every time.

Dana Whitfield — Phoenix, AZ
Yelp

Called in the morning, fireplace fixed the same afternoon. Glass cleaned, logs reset — the flame looks brand new.

Rachel Simmons — Atlanta, GA
Yelp

Honest company. Told me the valve was fine and it was just a clogged pilot assembly. Cleaned it, tested it three times, done.

Tom Herrera — Denver, CO
Thumbtack

Our remote stopped talking to the fireplace. They fitted a new receiver, paired the remote, and walked me through it. Easy, start to finish.

Priya Kapoor — Miami, FL
Thumbtack

Soot all over the glass and a weak yellow flame. One service visit fixed both — the flame is blue and even again.

Greg Malone — Chicago, IL
YPYP

A bird got into the flue — scratching noises for two days. They removed it safely, checked everything, and capped the flue the same day.

Linda Carlson — Dallas, TX

Fireplace hadn't run in two winters. Inspection first, one part replaced, and it's the warmest room in the house again.

Asked the way our clients ask

These are the real questions people type into search and AI assistants every day — answered plainly.

My gas fireplace won't light — what do I do?+

Check the pilot light and that the wall switch or remote has fresh batteries. If the igniter clicks but nothing catches, the problem is usually the igniter, thermocouple, or gas valve — all repairable, usually in one visit. Don't keep forcing it; call (888) 257-9181 and a tech will diagnose it on the spot.

There's a bird in my fireplace. Can you get it out?+

Yes — keep the damper closed and don't light a fire. We remove animals safely and humanely, check the flue for nests or damage, and fit a cap so nothing gets back in.

How often does a fireplace need inspection?+

Once a year, before the season you use it most — gas, wood, electric or propane. An inspection catches cracked fireboxes, blocked flues, and failing valves before they turn into smoke, smell, or a fireplace that quits on the coldest night of the year.

Why does my fireplace smell, even when it's off?+

Creosote and soot absorb moisture and smell strongest in warm, humid weather; a gas smell is different — if you smell gas, leave and call your gas company first. A deep cleaning and a draft check fix the fireplace smell in nearly every case.

Can you turn my wood fireplace into gas?+

Yes — a gas insert or gas log set goes into your existing firebox: no wood, no ash, on with a switch or remote. We size it to your room, run the line, and vent it to code. Start with a free estimate.

Do you give prices over the phone?+

No — and be wary of anyone who does. Every fireplace fails differently, so a phone price is a guess that changes at your door. Our estimates are free: a tech looks at the actual problem, then gives you one clear price before any work starts.
